I'll be in Canaan Valley this weekend, staying at the Canaan Valley Lodge. Skiing at both Canaan and Timberline.

The second rule is not to speak of powder days.

Third rule, tell canaanman that Timberline is blowing snow at the pumphouse ontop of fresh powder and watch these tracks mysteriously appear.

Actually I'm REALLY considering either canaan or timberline on Saturday. You wouldn't believe it but the first and ONLY time I was to canaan was in `96 on a March ski trip with my fellow 11th graders at the time. That wasn't pretty. lol

Whats everyone else's schedule look like for Saturday?

I'm going to the Shoe Saturday. I'd love to go to Timberline on Saturday to avoid crowds but Off the Wall isn't open and we have some free Shoe passes (obtained with morals in tact).

I'm headed to Wintergreen on Saturday with a fellow teacher who has never skiied before. It took a whole year of coaxing to get her this far.

I'm going to Canaan Valley on Satuday night for the $15 lift ticket/rental deal, then using up my passes for Snowshoe on Sunday. If anyone will be at Snowshoe on Sunday, I might could share my extra passes (I have 7 and at max will use 5).
