Buddy of mine was heading to Burlington and Smuggs last night for a three day weekend. Timing great if he got through. VT, NH and ME ski areas all appear to have received 1-2 or more feet of snow in last 36 hrs.

They must be lying to you. Snowshoe says they have the best conditions in the East :P I guess they didn't say the "east" of what though. Could have meant best conditions in the east of WV I guess.

Just talked to my parents who live up in BGR (that's Maine). Dad had a real tough time getting out of the driveway this morning for work and that's with a 4WD truck! And that's coming from a hearty soul who knows what the winters are like up there. AND it comes from a guy who knows how to use the 4WD and not abuse it.

Ohh how I wish to be up there right now... I miss it sometimes, I really do.

Quit dreaming of the northland..canaan valley just got a 10" dump! & of the powder variety.From what i can gather the NE dump was of the great base building wet & heavy stuff.Get naked in the valley!!Come on "almost Heaven"
