I took some pictures this morning/afternoon around 12:30 when the snow was REALLY coming down. It's been snowing all morning, but up until this time the ground was bare with a few flakes constantly coming down. The ground is covered and it's still flurring out.

Enjoy the pics!

Btw yes... my family owns a 1000' mountain.

By the looks of it, a pretty nice old Camaro too! Does it run?

1969 Camero non-SS with 307 stock engine in it. Well not in it at the moment as it's been pulled out of it to get it rebuilt. It's my mom's camero but she doesn't drive it anymore so I really want to get a garage built and rebuild the camero myself from the ground up.

Hey Brad, thanx for the pics. I was just wondering if it'd snow again this year. Soooo, you got a 1000' vert & an unroadworthy explorer. Maybe some of us would be interested in coming down and glading out a couple runs. We'll "borrow" one of those snowblowers from snowshoe, the big blue one with the really quiet fan at the bottom of widowmaker. Then all we need is a water tank (big) and enuf rope to run from the explorer to the top and back. We'll name it Walker Glade. Who needs Bill Bright?

She's a beauty. I sold my '70 Pontiac Lemans Sport convertible a couple years ago - I really miss it. There is nothing like driving that classic American iron!

Yup my grandma owns a really big mountain behind our house here, and I don't have any GPS unit to get the exact measurements, but there is 100+ acres in our family, mostly black/blue equivelant pitches on the eastern facing side. There *IS* a pond at the top, not nearly enough to supply snowmaking. Base elevation is around 1000' and the ridge rises toa round 2100, 2200', give or take some. Our property doesn't go all the way to the summit, West Vaco owns that or is getting ready to sell.

-----------------

Correction. I just checked and there is exactly 1021' vert behind my house up on the mountain. That includes the summit which we don't own... so maybe we have 900 or so of vert. Theres a lake on the other side of the mountain... I feel the urge to make snow.
