A Basin is again the first to open in the USA
I do have to question how much snow making capacity the Summit Country ski areas have -- given the water shortage. This is a pic I took about 3 weeks ago of the SE end of Lake Dillon - at the intersection of Swan Mountain road and the road to Keystone -- where the snake River spills into the lake. The area you see is normally under 10-20 feet of water.Instead the river is carving thru dirt it last carved thru when the lake was first filled 50 years ago. You can see a bit of the lake in the far distance.
