Got a big weekend coming up w/ Presi Day on Monday... thinking of getting some turns in @ Montage in PA. Anyone have insight on forecast for that area and what to expect snow quality wise? Scranton weather says chances of rain/wintry mix, didn't know if the mountain got to see more flakes typically...
I saw the forecast on Saturday and texted my friend in Hershey to see if he wanted to go a few days earlier than planned. Alas, he has to work.
I think Elk would probably be a little colder than Montage, maybe worth the extra hour or so round trip.
Montage's slopes face WNW, while Elk is more NNE.
