Looks like Big SNOW at American Dream Mall in NJ is reaching out a bit farther for their marketing.  Ski Center Ltd. in Gaithersburg has an offer for anyone interested in boots.

"Ski Center is happy to announce our partnership with Big Snow American Dream Indoor Skiing in Rutherford, New Jersey. Just three hours away, they offer 4 lifts and 4 acres of skiable terrain available every day, 12 months a year with a consistent temperature of 23-28 degrees Fahrenheit and fresh snow every night.  https://www.bigsnowamericandream.com

For the months of September and October any customer spending $299 or more on boot fitting upgrades such as custom insoles, new Custom ski boot liners from Zipfit and Intuition, canting/alignment work or the purchase of new ski boots will receive a voucher for a free skiing session, compliments of Ski Center, Ltd. and Big Snow American Dream. Also, anyone purchasing a ski or ski/binding package will receive a free skiing voucher to try their new equipment. (Seasonal Lease packages do not qualify for this promotion)."

I skied at Big SNOW with friends in July and August.  Had a good time during the 2-hour session before driving home.  Both times it was at the end of a trip to the northeast for other reasons.

While it's true that there are 4 lifts at Big SNOW, most of the time only two are running.  There is a slow quad to the top and a magic carpet that serves the beginner terrain that run all the time.  A second magic carpet is on the wall side of the beginner terrain.  Although right now that's next to three sledding runs.  There is a poma near the far side wall.  That mainly serves the terrain park section.  When the poma isn't running, can be fun to ski down the lift line because the snow is relatively untouched.

Cool idea for getting new boots and equipment dialed in before the season.
