Firsthand Account: Ski Liberty
By Anonymous DCSki Reader

With the weather affording almost no opportunity for snowmaking, Liberty has managed to open with two chairlifts serving two trails. The skier’s terrain garden is open, served by the midstation of chair #3, which runs from the frontside to the summit. Sneaky Pete/Nova, served by chair #1, is also open. Conditions over the weekend were decidedly springlike, with soft very moist manmade snow. The base cannot be very deep but overall coverage is even. There are no bare spots on Sneaky Pete/Nova and the terrain garden looked okay as of noon on Sunday.

Not much to ski, but if you are a novice or know a novice who would like to get some mileage in, lift tickets are only $10.00. The holiday may bring a price increase.
