Over the summer, North Carolina’s Beech Mountain Resort has continued an effort to upgrade its snowmaking infrastructure, replacing equipment along slopes including Oz Run, Upper and Lower Shawneehaw, and the Meadows. To open the Oz run earlier in the season, Beech has purchase airless snowmaking machines. Other capital improvements at the resort include trim and siding upgrades in Beech Tree Village.

Beech plans to continue its popular midweek discount program this season, offer different specials on different weekdays throughout the season. For example, Beech will offer a “Two for Tuesday” special, and a “Retro Rate Wednesday,” where lift tickets can be purchased for $16 during non-holiday periods.
