Whitetail’s Far Side slope will be lit for night skiing this winter, bringing 100% lighting to Whitetail’s expert terrain. After this upgrade, intermediate Fanciful will be the only slope at Whitetail that does not have lighting.

A Burton Learn to Ride Center is also coming to Whitetail this winter, with a new fleet of Burton boards for all ability levels.

A Magic Carpet lift with enclosure is being installed at the Snow Tubing area, which will make it easier to get to the top of the hill and also allow room for additional tubing runs.

The Pennsylvania resort is also supplementing its snowmaking fleet with 30 new snowguns.

Remember when they were considering putting "magic carpet" to tow folks up to the beginning of the terrain park? What ever happend to that? Not enough room perhaps? I still like the idea...
