Over the summer of 2006, Pennsylvania’s Blue Mountain Ski Area plans to replace its Challenge double chairlift with a new, 6-person high-speed detachable lift. Blue Mountain also plans to cut a new intermediate trail between Razors Edge and Paradise.

Blue Mountain has started plans to replace its current valley lodge facility with a brand new lodge. The new lodge would be 250,000 square feet. The bottom two floors will contain areas for ticket sales, rentals, food services, and a lounge/bar area. The upper three floors will contain “one quarter share” condominium living space.
