Whitetail to Open Wednesday

A dip in weekend temperatures allowed Whitetail to fire up the snow guns, generating enough snow to open tomorrow morning.

Whitetail plans to run the U-Me Double and Easy Rider Quad chairs, servicing beginner trails Velvet, Stalker, and Snow Park. (Snow Park is shown in the picture to the left, taken Saturday morning.)

Whitetail had hoped to open this past weekend, but warmer temperatures and rain late last week delayed the opening date until more snow could be made.

Snowmaking has also started on other trails. The first intermediate to open should be upper Angel Drop, serviced by Whitetail’s high-speed quad.
