If all goes well, both Ski Liberty and Ski Roundtop will open this Friday, November 12. The opening date is not confirmed yet; both areas hope to make additional snow, if possible, and also suffered from today’s rain.
Liberty anticipates opening Friday evening, while Roundtop plans to open Friday at 9:00 a.m. Snowmaking at Liberty has occurred on slopes Dipsy Doodle, Alpine Run, Freedom Trail, and the Snowboard Park and half-pipe. Roundtop plans on opening beginner terrain on Friday.
Whitetail Ski Resort has started snowmaking on all beginner trail and intermediate Angel Drop, but does not anticipate opening prior to December 14.
