Wisp Four Seasons Resort will join the wave of local ski areas opening this Friday, November 21. Wisp has only received 6 inches of natural snow, but has been making snow as conditions permit. The rope tow will be running Friday to service the Belly Flopy beginner area. Wisp hopes to open the advanced Squirrel Cage trail shortly thereafter, assuming temperatures remain in the snowmaking range.

Wisp will be open Friday from 12 noon until 9 p.m. Hours for Saturday are 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and hours for Sunday are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Early season lift ticket pricing will be in effect.

Wisp, located in Garrett County, is Maryland’s only downhill ski area. Wisp offers 23 slopes and trails.
