Pennsylvania’s Blue Mountain Ski Area has spent the summer constructing a new 2,200 square-foot facility to house its Snowboard School. The new building is located outside of the Valley Lodge and will provide a more efficient flow for riders signing up for lessons.

Blue Mountain has also expanded its tubing area, adding 3 additional slides for a total of 14. All slides are over 1,000 feet in length. And, Blue Mountain now has 5 Piston Bulley groomers.

Skied there for a day last winter. Not a bad mountain. They groom the slopes twice a day. It was nice to hit a just groomed trail at 1:00 in the afternoon. Be ready to leave when school is out though. The kids go from school to the slopes and they are everywhere. We had a nice day.
