Snow in October? Pennsylvania’s Ski Roundtop plans to make that a reality, if only for a day.

On Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 2 p.m., Ski Roundtop will hold an October Rail Jam open to skiers and boarders. The resort will be importing snow for the event. Cash prizes will be determined by the number of participants, with 100% of entry fees going into the prize purse.

The Rail Jam will be held in conjunction with Ski Roundtop’s Used Equipment Swap and Outdoor Sports Expo. Live music, outdoor sports equipment dealers, food, a moon bounce for the kids, chairlift rides, climbing at the Flying Leap Ropes Course will also be held, with free admission. The Swap and Expo will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 9 and 10.
