“The normal NORBA formula of western high altitude climb-fests will be thrown out the window at Snowshoe,” said Eric Moore, Director of Competition for NORBA. “We anticipate Snowshoe Mountain making things interesting.”
Many of the nationally and internationally ranked male and female riders will be racing in West Virginia for the first time, vying for a spot in the National Finals, to be held later this year in Colorado.
The NORBA series will be held in conjunction with Snowshoe’s Appalachian Uprising Mountain Bike and Music Festival, which will include a free industry expo and free mountain top concert.
Following NORBA, Snowshoe Mountain Resort will head straight into the 24 Hours of Snowshoe race, which will kick off on June 29.
