I took the 4 hour (plus lunch) course this Saturday at Whitetail and had a great time. I didn't really know of Diann when I saw the course offering on the Whitetail website. I signed up because it seemed like a unique opportunity to ski with someone of such a high caliber. My fears about not being good enough proved unfounded as everyone was around the same intermediate level. The lessons started after a few warm up runs which gave Diann a chance to see us a ski and helped us find the best snow. Following the warm up Diann started the lessons based on the weaknesses she found -- although she said none of us were in need of major surgery. After a lesson we'd then do "free ski run" -- so there was a lot of skiing. In my mind, her class is probably tailored to each group and the issues that she sees within it. In many ways, my favorite part of the course was just watching her ski and seeing her ability in action. I enjoyed the whole thing so much that I'm going to try it again in a few weeks.
My only complaint is about me. Why didn't I bring my camera!? sigh
