This winter, ski lessons may hit an all-time high at West Virginia’s Snowshoe Mountain Resort, but excellent snow conditions might not be the reason why. People Magazine has just published its annual list of the “100 Most Eligible Bachelors,” and Pete Moran, a 23-year old ski instructor at Snowshoe, was included in the roundup.

According to an article in the Charleston Daily Mail, Moran, who just returned from heliskiing in Alaska, seeks out adventure. Moran had previously spent a summer working on a cattle ranch.

When asked to describe Moran, Snowshoe’s Joe Stevens told the newspaper: “Good guy. Funny. Outward. Single. Quite single.” He added that it’s “full-speed ahead with everything. He doesn’t wait for anything. He goes after it.”

Moran was the only ski instructor included in the list, which was developed through an “exhaustive four-month nationwide dragnet,” according to People Magazine. The list included celebrities such as Ben Affleck, George Clooney, and Julio Iglesias Jr., as well as “regular guys.”

Moran told the Charleston Daily Mail that he was comfortable being a bachelor. “I just want to travel and I don’t want to be tied down,” he explained.
