On Thursday, October 19, the Harford Ski Club will team with SnowTime to host an exclusive area appearance of Warren Miller’s 51st annual film tour. Packed with Miller’s usual assortment of adventure, emotion, and humor, RIDE will be shown at the Regal Cinemas in Bel Air at 5:00, 7:00, and 9:00. Tickets are $7.50.

RIDE will be projected digitially in DVD onto the big screen, a first for Regal Cinemas. RIDE takes viewers from the unforgiving peaks of New Zealand to the soaring heights of Russia’s Mt. Elbrus, with stops in the ice fields of Greenland and the Big Air Exhibition in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Door prizes will be given away during the showings, including a $20 gift certificate at Yogi’s, a free month membership at the Bel Air Athletic Club, a wine and cheese party at the Fiore Winery, free lift tickets to Wisp, Ski Roundtop, Ski Liberty and Whitetail, and lots of snow gear from SnowTime. Free lift tickets to Sugarbush, Vermont will be given to the first 100 people to purchase movie tickets, and everyone will be given a free copy of Snow World magazine.

For more information and directions to the theater, visit Harford Ski Club’s web site or call their hotline at (888) 380-3350.
