West Virginia’s Snowshoe Mountain Resort plans to celebrate the upcoming Labor Day weekend by offering several events, including a cookout, live entertainment, a two-day tent sale, and a mountaintop fireworks display.

On both Saturday, September 4, and Sunday, September 5, a cookout will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Skidder Slope, next to the Shavers Centre Plaza. From 4 to 9 p.m. on both days, live entertainment will be performing outside. A tent sale will offer special prices on 1998/99 ski and snowboard equipment.

A free fireworks display will cap off the weekend on Sunday night. According to the resort, the best viewing will be from the Skidder slope.
