Sugar Mountain Resort has been busy spending $150,000 on changes and renovations to its Main Lodge Building over the summer. The resort has also spent $50,000 on a new surface lift located in the Terrain/Snowboard Park, which will be welcome news to snowboarders visiting the North Carolina resort.

In personnel changes, Dave Johnson, a skier at Sugar Mountain since his youth, is taking the helm as the resort’s new Director of Sales.

“We anticipate Dave’s knowledge of skiing and the area to help our customers have a wonderful time,” said Gunther Jochl, Sugar Mountain’s General Manager.

Thanx for adding Sugar and Beech Mtn.'s to your site. Sugar has announced that they will be open for skiing on Tuesday, November 19, 2002. Should be a great season.
