The results are in: readers of the Blue Ridge Country magazine have voted West Virginia’s Snowshoe Mountain Resort as the best ski resort in the region.

“Our readers either live in or long for the Blue Ridge and are frequent travelers to the mountains,” says Kurt Rheinheimer, Editor in Chief of the Blue Ridge Country magazine, which has a readership of 315,000 readers. “They truly are experts about what to do, where to go and what to see. This is the first time in the 10 year history of the magazine that we’ve tapped into their expertise.”

The magazine asked readers to choose the “Best of the Mountains,” and Snowshoe was given a Platinum Award as Best Ski Resort. The complete results will be published in the July/August issue, which hits newstands on June 22.

Blue Ridge Country magazine is published bi-monthly and covers the mountain regions of North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Maryland, Kentucky and West Virginia.
