The “Dilly in Chantilly” retail sale enters its 30th year from September 27-29, 2013 at the Chantilly, Virginia location of Sun & Ski.

The Dilly in Chantilly was launched by the Ski Chalet retail store and became a D.C. institution; DCSki Columnist Jim Kenney has described the sale as a “newsworthy event”. Sun & Ski, a national snowsports retail chain, purchased Ski Chalet in 2005 and has continued the annual event.

The Dilly will open on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 10 a.m. to midnight. On Saturday, September 28, the sale’s hours will be 10 a.m. to 9.m. The sale will end on Sunday, September 9, with operating hours 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

According to Sun & Ski, tech reps from manufacturers will be on site to answer questions. Skis, snowboards, apparel and accessories will be on sale with discounts as high as 60%, the company said. “Sun & Ski Cash” will also be provided for purchases totaling over $349.
