This winter, The Homestead debuts the Allegheny Springs Winter Wonderland, which will provide ice skating and swimming in addition to skiing. The historic Virginia resort will be selling full- and half-day ice skating passes as well as skate rentals. A heated, spring-fed outdoor pool will be available to hotel guests year round.

The Homestead is also unveiling a new Rossignol Experience Center. Rossignol has partnered with 13 resorts across the United States to provide the Centers, which Rossignol says create a more enjoyable renting and learn-to-ski experience. Rossignol is stocking the Centers with the latest ski innovations. The Centers will also provide tips and full-service instruction.

The Homestead will be offering various ski/lodging packages this winter, such as a Family Learn to Ski Package (with rates as low as $77 per person, including accommodations, lift tickets, rentals, and group lessons).
