Winterplace has installed 34 new automated snow guns, and widened one of its expert slopes.
The West Virginia ski area has installed 34 fully automated snowmaking guns on the Plunge, Nose Dive, Snow Bowl, Drop Off, and Look At Me trails. New fan guns have also been placed along Compromise, Meadows, Highland, Panorama, and Glades. According to the resort, these snowmaking improvements will allow Winterplace to open more terrain quicker in the season.
In addition, Winterplace has widened the Nose Dive expert slope.
