Just as an FYI, since I believe this was previously not an option, at least as far as we knew in the Spring. I had purchased IKON passes for 3 in my family, and a Ridiculous pass for our new/hesitant skier, as our Spring Break Snowshoe trip last year paid for the Ridiculous Pass. Now that we have a trip to CO planned for Jan, I called to ask about the possibility of upgrading, and they allowed me to do so. Charged me the difference between the Ridiculous when I purchased and what the IKON would have been at that time. 

Just posting to let others know this is an option, in case some of the new announcements have changed anyone's plans.
