Pretty nice mountain, very nice town of Ellicottville, pretty good snow, pretty low avy danger. Really nice XC nearby

It's been 20+ years since my one visit. I recall an unusually long ridge of trails, causing it to ski bigger than you'd expect for its vertical.

As to the avy. That's funny. But I do think they had a real slide some years back. Probably can be found with a bit of internet sleuthing. One perhaps a bit larger than the Wisp 'slide' pre-season several years back. It gets folks to pull out their camera(phone)!
