It ain't over until the fat lady sings, but I think she's warming up her vocal cords for me this weekend at the Snowy Luau.

Should come in around 15-20. 10 so far, spending a couple of weeks at Jay to end this month. Hope snow holds to earn some turns in Pinkham Notch.

0.

That's right, zero. First season since I started downhill skiing years ago that I've had zero ski days.

10, which is actually the most in one season for me. 3 at Liberty, 3 at Snowshoe, 4 at Schweitzer.

Scott,
Come to Timberline for the Snowy (slushy)Luau. Lots of fun and you won't have a "0" day year!! Lots of DCSkiers will be there, look for red or yellow ribbons somewhere on the person!
We will designate a couple of meet-up times and place soon.

As Jim said, "it ain't over yet"! I have 17 or so total counting the time I skied only a little due to injury:
6 days at Obergurgl-Hochgurgl in Austria; 2 days at Timberline (another 2+ this coming Slushy Luau-always a lot of fun regardless of conditions); 1 day at Canaan Valley; and 8 days at Snowshoe. Less than I had hoped for since I am now retired, but all days have seen good conditions, albeit sometimes with limited trail count. Next year I will plan for about 20-25, to include at least one trip out West or to Europe. I'll also try to get my 71 year old body in a bit better shape so I maybe can keep up with the youngsters like JimK, Jimmy etc. I also hope Connie and Charles can help me get involved with the "Wounded Warriors" on-snow events. Also hope to find a few more friends that might want to ski during the week, makes the trip easier to have a "Snow" buddy along.
And maybe I will try harder not to fall down on snowy roads or slip in parking lots when putting on boots.
The Colonel smile

Scott, looks like we are in the same boat!

For everyone, does this year ski totals come to less or more than previous years? I'm curious whether this winter (or lack there of) affected those numbers. It sure did for me!

The weather hugely affected me. Big fat zero here as well. Main factors:

- Weather. Nuff said.

- $$$. New car, daycare for my daughter, new windows on the house, new furniture, and a move back to the DC area all ate up a lot of funds this year.

- Health. I'm seriously out-of-shape, due to a combination of factors. When my daughter was born in April of 2010, I was low 170's (I'm 6'1). I'm 30 pounds over that right now, with way less muscle. I was seriously worried about getting hurt.

Last year we did 8 days in Park City and 4 at Baker. The year before that, only 2 days at Stowe (the wife was pregnant). I'm coming back strong next year. Will be back in shape (already started biking), and will save up for at least 2 trips out West.

The weather definitely affected my number of ski days.

Liberty: 5
Seven Springs: 3
Wisp: 4

Last year was at least double that number.

I think I'm at 15. Maybe I'll get another 5 to 8 in. I just skied 3 days here in the Valley and I'll be here the rest of the week but the forecast says no below freezing over night and highs in the 70s so skiing maybe doubtful until Saturday for the Luau. I'll be in Stowe first week of April and I hope to get more days there to end the season.

Last year I skied about 25 days so I'm a bit off my pace. The weather had a little to do with it but mostly it was work as in this winter I worked and last winter I was on lay off from my job.
