Dunno if it's still around, but there used to be this place on US rt 1 just north of Quantico called "Hillbilly Heaven."
It could get pretty rowdy on a Saturday night. Maybe we could open one of those up at MSM. Heck, you could even have a military night special and the boys from the services could make the place real authentic like it used to be.

MSM is just a tubin park. Snowshoe has 57 trails and 1500' of vert. What is wrong with snowshoe? Its close to home, and UVA than MSN. Ive never heard of MSM until recently anyway.

Jimmy he's not going to do snowmaking for us at MSM. I can't believe this. UVA is forgiveable- I mean, heck, you and I are kind of buddies and we go to WVU and VT respectively. If peace can be made between attendees of those two schools, then anything is possible. But not wanting to work for MSM? I mean, it's not like we pay salaries but who needs it when you've got everything Moonshine is going to have... most young men would consider it a privilege to work at a place that holds weekly wet t-shirt drinking contests... what is wrong with Snowmakers? Snowmakers: what's wrong with you? What more can we offer you to make snow for us instead of Snowshoe? What if I told you that Snowshoe was run by Hokies, and all the people that owned property there were Hokies? What if I said that your snowmaking system as it exists right now would be PERFECT for Moonshine Mountain?

This is a high pressure sale. Screw the school- I went to Notre Dame as an undergrad and we're all entitled to make those types of mistakes. This is important- this is about LIFE, and bringing meaning and happiness to people, about finding your calling. Your calling is with us, Moonshine Mountain. Can't you hear it calling? Whiskey, women, ATVs, beer, and skiing, sometimes all five at once. What else is there in life?

No offense, Heather- you're gonna have to work on the "ladies" program for MSM. Being a man, you must understand that anything I came up with would probably be well wide of what women want. What do rowdy redneck women want anyway? Heather knows, and she will provide for them!

But we need a snowmaker- we need someone with dedication and courage and ingenuity and other stuff. I thought I had found it in you Snowmakers. Don't let us down!!!

Like I said, I havent heard of MSM until about a week ago on a google listing. But I may consider working there for maybe a year. Maybe...

...But ive only got like 400 maye 450 to spend right now...And i know i cant get skis, boots, bindings, and poles for that...I might just rent this year and save up and get some good stuff next year...

I got my wife head boots (she likes them) a used pair of Rossi Bandits and poles for $180. Buy boots that fit and are comfortable and see if you can pick up some ex rentals or demo skis that will work okay for a season or two. Don't skrimp on boots though.

OMG!!! LMAO I can't freakin believe it. They even have the logo right.

Snowmakers, just for your edification MSM is kind of a dream mountain here for us, trust me it's definitely not the one you googled. MSM is going to be the mountain that brings all the fun stuff back to skiing and riding and ATV'ing and mountainboarding and drinking and debaucherying (is that even a word) and coveting thy neighbours stuff and all that. what it comes down to is a big hill with awesome trails and an overall contempt for all things structured although that may just be Jimmy. I'm telling you MSM is the future.

HEEEEEEEHAW!!!!! Took me a while to clean the mountain dew off my screen, hate when it comes out my nose! Google definitly not the right engine to search for Moonshine Mountain, The Legend, Ski it if you can (stand). Sorry for the confusion snowmakers, but that's what the UNTOPIC (c) is all aobut. Try a moonshine search on good ole dcski, u'll be up all night. Let us know if you'll reconsider RogerZ's offer...........kennedy, those exercises, the squat, squat, jump, sick man, just sick.

Kennedy has got it right. Once I make a small fortune from shady eminent domain deals, Moonshine is the real deal. There's a trail map somewhere in the Untopic btw that shows the layout- 70, 80% pitches, Shay's Revenge steep-intermediate slopes- there's a reason we don't encourage sobriety when skiing (or riding- we are an equal opportunity annihlator) here.

Speaking of annihilated... is it Thursday yet? Jimmy- I wanted you to know- the UNTOPIC (c) now has more than 1000 views. And no, I haven't been flipping back and forth while at my boring job to get us that ranking. IT'S ALL YOU BABY!!!!

See the great things that can happen when Mountaineers and Hokies work together?

I stayed quiet long enough...but that comment brought me out of hiding...I think the last time a Mountaineer and a Hokie worked together World War 2 started...lol

Hey is that Jimmy on the logo for MSM???

It must be, Check out his motto..."Ski it if you can (stand)"...I guess he couldnt stand any more...so to stay on the slopes like a real trooper he decided to tube for a while...But notice, he never put down the bottle!!!!

What a role model for the rest of us....WAY TO GO JIMMY!!!

By the Way...
Thanks for all the info on used ski equipment everybody...I think im gonna go that way...
