I must say that "that was the strangest thing that my name has ever been linked to!" Thank you RogerZ for whatever that was. I, who has no power over MSM, have decided that you should become MSM jingle writer! I think the MSM board of undirectors would agree!!!

One of my favorite quotes from a dcski unguru

Quote:

My only point is lighten up a little ... to me (and you are right I suck) skiing is all about not sticking the landing, crashing, getting out of control, scaring yourself, doing an amazing run, making a fool of yourself, wailing like there is no tomorrow, being the fastest, being the lamest, cranking turns under a blue sky, cranking turns in sh&t weather, cranking turns in powder, cranking turns on groomers, cranking turns in bumps, being scared, being bold, doing it under the chairs and have people go "oh yeah!", doing it under the chairs and have people laugh at you, getting the nod from boarders, getting dis'd by boarders, racing in a ski camp and finding that 1 second, racing in a ski camp and getting your clock cleaned by a ski pro ...etc .

I can't remember anymore can somone help me with is it better to fall down or to hit the fence?

jeff, how's the pale ale working out? Finally got around to trying out that troegs mr z was touting a while back, bot one of those samplers, the pale ale's pretty good; SNPA hard to beet tho wish i was there. Please keep us posted .

"While we're off topic"

Scott, i wonder who'd be interested in a "Moonshine Mountain" tee shirt bet u could sell some??

Who wants to meet up for opening day at Timberline? I predict that it will be December 8.

Quote:

While we're off topic, I have a real concern that needs to be addressed. This is serious here folks: why, in all of our discussions of Moonshine Mountain, have we yet to mention bourbon, whiskey, scotch, or other hard liquors of less-legal varieties from the great states of Tennessee and Virginia? What's up with all this beer talk? How can we call a place MOONSHINE Mountain and not have some mash on hand???

Roger, this has troubled me all day,.....ur right we've forgotten our roots....cahulawasie cafe.....kwills still....we need to get the shine back on the mountain

If you could put a brewery or distillery at the bottom of one of your Mid atlantic ski haunts.....what would be the names of some of the concoctions?...For timberLINE you could have "can't walk a straight LINE" whisky...or "white lightning"...TIMBERS...the beer to make you limber...head for the slopes!
