Looking to use our Ikon Passes at Killington Dec 20-22  (the idea being that K-ton will have the most open in NE pre X-mas). Any suggestions for reasonably priced lodging for a family of 4?

Stayed here several times. Old fashioned New England Inn. I think they have some family rooms. Five minute drive to Killington. Going to miss you there by a week.

Inn at the Long Trail: basic and affordable midweek. Pricier on the weekends. Good access to the Beast and Pico also””a place I regret I did not ski. Locals chided me about that on the lift.

It is a nice B&B place, I stayed there during my 1st trip to K'ton.   It offers hot full breakfast in large portion, enough to sustain me an entire day.  Has an indoor hottub, no TV in rooms.  It is about 10-15 mins (?) drive to K'ton.

If you are looking for budget option, you can also consider to stay in Rutland, about 20 min. -30 min. dirve to K'ton.

If Pico is open, and covered, I had a great time there!!  A bit more rustic that the beast.

Since you are going before the Xmas/New Year's chaos you should be able to get a good deal on the access road, there are plenty of hotels and lodges with great amenities and shuttles to either Ramshead or the K1 base.  If you've never heard of these you may want to do a bit of research, KIllington is huge and studying up on the trail map and base locations will help you enjoy your visit.
