I have noticed the trails that seem to be from the bottom up to the condo area at Blue Knob... is this abandoned terrain? What's the story there? Was there a lift accessing at one time?

May be informal tree runs there above/beside Stembogen Bowl, but never any official runs or lifts between condo village and base of two original long dbl chairs.  Back in 90s current beginner chair off to skiers right from summit continued all the way to condo village.  It served a long boring beginner run primarily cut to make village ski-in/ski-out.  Since village never really boomed with guests they shortened that chair to current length for a more manageable beginner area.  They also put in a tubing park between beginner chair and village.
