Im extreme camping up here on top of Clingmans dome Nc...getting 4g on SPh!....its 19 degrees west wind 25/30mph...over a foot of new snow.....just saw a report of 16 inches on nearby Mt Lecont!.... Oh....Sugar opens tomorrow....just say NO to GW!!!! Ok..ok...Nov fools on the camping but Sugar will open....feels more like Aoril Fools than Halliween...FREAKY!!!

The snow machines are in full force on Upper and Lower Flying Mile.  Natural snow continues to coat Sugar Mountain.  Stay tuned.

The weather channel interviewed the owner of Sugar this morn and he said it was no guaruntee but he had recalled a lot of staff and workers and they were Planning on opening 3/4 of the Mtn tomorrow....it would be the 2nd earliest opening ever..only Snowycane Sandy helped them open earlier 2 years ago with the help of a foot of snow....wish TL had that kind of hustle!

Well killington is opening up on moday. Our last hope is sugar or beech!

Well I will say it is a GREAT night for a camp fire.  My son is camping out with his scout troop this evening.  The rain left just in time for them to start the hobo meals.  He will enjoy his new 15 degree sleeping bag tonight.  I told him to be sure and bundle up before stickig his head out of the tent in the morning.  

Smell that?  Winter's coming!

They sure did open today.  Cattaloochee did too.  

Just heard the TN side got TWO FEET!  How's Gat doing today?
