Winterplace continued to upgrade its snowmaking infrastructure over the summer, expanding upon efforts in recent years to switch over to automated snowmaking. The West Virginia resort also widened the Turkey Chute and Over Easy trails.

The terrain park will see the addition of a new C Box, and the rental fleet has also been expanded.

Winterplace will be selling a $99 “Learn to Ski or Board 3-Pack” this winter, valid during mid-week, non-holiday periods. The first two sessions include a beginner lift ticket, rental equipment, and 90-minute group lesson. The third session includes a full mountain lift ticket, rental equipment, and 90-minute group lesson.
