Sponsorship Packages
DCSki offers three Sponsorship Packages, offering various levels of exposure throughout the DCSki site. Each package is sold on a season-long basis, providing 8 consecutive months of exposure (September 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009). Gas prices may continue to rise, but DCSki is keeping sponsorship packages at the same price points as they have been for several years. Page-top ads have also increased in size to 700 pixels wide by 120 pixels tall. Packages are described below.

Platinum Sponsorship - Most Exposure!

The Platinum Sponsorship package offers an unprecedented amount of exposure throughout the DCSki site. We work with Platinum Sponsors to design a large, custom ad (containing text and images) that is rotated through some of DCSki's most popular pages, including the DCSki Message Forum. Platinum Sponsorships provide extensive brand awareness on DCSki and several ways to deliver a compelling message to potential customers.
In addition to a custom ad, Platinum Sponsors receive up to two page-top banners and up to two mid-page skyscraper banners, which will be rotated throughout the site. In addition, Platinum Sponsors receive an entry in the “text ad block” that shows up statically on most pages DCSki publishes.
A Platinum Sponsorship guarantees that your company will receive placement on virtually every page DCSki publishes, every day of the season.

- $3,740 per season (8 total months) flat rate. ($2,992 for prior advertisers booking by September 19, 2008.)
- Prominent exposure throughout site
- Large, custom ad rotated through seven core areas of DCSki, currently: Weather, Conditions, Event Schedule, Message Forum, Bargain Tracker, Recent News/Reader Comments, and Q&A. (Core areas are subject to change.)
- Ads run from September 1, 2008 - April 30, 2009
- Unlimited impressions
- One or two page-top banners (700 pixels wide by 120 pixels tall) with twice the selection frequency of a Silver Sponsorship. Page-top banners are rotated through the top and bottom of most DCSki pages.
- One or two mid-page skyscraper banners (160 pixels wide by 400 pixels tall). Mid-page skyscrapers are located in the left column of DCSki pages.
- Highly visible text ad with logo shown permanently during season on most DCSki pages, including DCSki front page. Text ads are limited to 100 words.
- Access to real-time statistics on impressions and click-throughs.
- Custom, banner, and text ad substitutions at any time (please allow up to a week for substitutions to occur).
- Free Lodging Finder ad included, if appropriate.
- Limited to eight positions.

The Gold Sponsorship package offers a combination of banner and text ads rotated through the site. Gold Sponsors receive up to two page-top banners, up to two mid-page "skyscraper" banners, and an entry in DCSki’s “text ad block,” which shows up on virtually every page DCSki publishes.

The affordable Silver Sponsorship package provides advertisers with traditional page-top and mid-page graphical banners, rotated throughout the site. This is our most economical package and provides great exposure throughout the winter on DCSki.
